Remember Who You Serve

I remember you

Remember Who You Serve

So many late nights trying to make sure the words are just right,

Ensuring that the impact is amplified, instead of falls flat

Making sure each “i” is dotted, each “t” is crossed.

The hustle and bustle along with the worry and flurry

So much time spent pleasing the world.

When all along, I lost sight of why I serve at all!

When the worship became just work!

No more–I will remember whose work made worship a reality!

No more–I will remember whose life has amplified through the centuries.

No more–I will remember that the times of prayer are more powerful than the most perfectly worded paragraph!

No more–I REMEMBER YOU!

Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God–this is your spiritual act of worship. Romans 12:1

    1. With everything going on in life it is easy to get off track. I needed to remind myself! “It Isn’t About Me” is dead on! I think that is part of the reason many churches find themselves anemic and stagnant–we’ve lost sight of the mission and focus of worship. Thanks again! God bless you!
